  • What areas do we service in?
    WinterWizards currently operates in Bedford, Nova Scotia.
  • What types of properties do you service?
    We can serve any type of property as long as its located in our service area zone. Online Booking system can be used to efficiently book for Single-Detached House, Semi-Detached House, and Row House. If you are looking to service your Apartment Building or a Commercial Property, please send us a message and we will be happy to send you a quote.
  • What equipment do we use for snow removal?
    We use professional-grade snow blowers, and specialized equipment designed to efficiently and effectively clear driveways. Deicing is done with salt or other liquified deicing substitutes.
  • Do I need to be present for the snow removal service?
    No, you do not need to be present. However, we recommend ensuring that your driveway is easily accessible, and any obstacles or parked vehicles are moved before our team arrives at your requested time slot. It is also a winter best-practice to clear your driveway and porch of any summer items to prevent potential hazards, such as slips, falls, which can cause serious injuries.
  • What if there's a heavy snowfall or a storm?
    In the event of heavy snowfall or a storm, our team will work diligently to clear driveways as quickly and safely as possible. However, please understand that extreme weather conditions may affect response times. After serving our monthly and seasonal members' properties, we will continue to serve individual requests on first come first serve basis.
  • What is one key benefit of choosing a plan over single visit booking?
    Our Monthly and Seasonal Subscriptions are offered for your peace of mind. Individual bookings on snowy dats are not required after purchase of Monthly or Seasonal subscription. Our team will prioritize service to your property after it snows. If you require additional visits later that day, you can request an additional visit by contacting us. You can stay worry-free for the entire plan term.
  • Do these plans save me money?
    Yes, monthly and seasonal plans comes with a discounted rate (per visit) compared to booking for each visit individually. This is another benefit of choosing the plans.
  • How many days am I covered for Snow Removal?
    Monthly Plans commence on the day of booking, and covers you for the next 31 days OR 5 Services, whichever comes first. Seasonal Plans commence on the day of booking, and covers you until April 30th OR 10 Services, whichever comes first.
  • What if we have a heavy snowfall or get hit by a snow storm?
    In the event of a heavy snowfall or a snowstorm, rest assured that our service commitment remains unwavering. We understand that extreme weather conditions can be unpredictable. That's why we don't charge based on the amount of snow, but rather on a per-visit basis. With 5 visits in our Monthly Plan and 10 in our Seasonal Plan, we've strategically designed our offerings to ensure your property receives adequate attention on most snowy days. This approach allows us to provide reliable and consistent service, no matter what winter throws our way. Your safety and convenience are our top priorities.
  • What happens if I exceed the allotted services in my plan?
    If you exceed the services included in your plan, we can discuss a discounted pay-per-visit booking option, and even accommodate early plan renewal.
  • Can I cancel my plan if I no longer need the service?
    Yes, you can cancel your Monthly or Seasonal plan. i) Monthly plans can be cancelled as long as you have not used any allotted services (transactional charges will apply). If you do not use all your services, up to 2 services can be rolled over to the next monthly booking. ii) Seasonal Plans can be cancelled within 5 days of the commencement of the plan OR before the completion of the first service (whichever comes first). If eligible for cancellation & refund, transactional charges will apply, and a pro-rated refund will be provided.
